This policy explains what personal data EZ Menus (https://www.ezmenus.co.uk) collects, why, and the choices you have. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Who we are
EZ Menus is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at hello@ezmenus.co.uk.
What we collect
When you browse the site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. If we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, it measures visits without cookies and without tracking you across other websites.
Advertising. We use Google AdSense to show adverts. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and, if you agree, personalise them. See advertising and cookies below.
When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name and anything you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to update menus you've told us about.
Calculators and search run entirely in your browser. What you type isn't sent to us or stored.
We don't ask for or knowingly collect special category data, and the site isn't aimed at children under 13.

Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the site: Cloudflare (hosting, security and analytics) and Google (advertising). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or UK adequacy regulations. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Emails are kept for up to two years, then deleted unless we still need them to deal with your request. Hosting and security logs are kept by Cloudflare for short periods in line with its own policies. Advertising cookies last for the periods set by Google and its partners.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email hello@ezmenus.co.uk. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
